At the ACBS Management Committee Meeting, held on Wednesday 30 January 2008, it was decided that the claim of Travel Subsidies would revert back to the original criteria and that funding for these would have to again come from Gaming Machine funds.  It had been hoped that by offering members half price table hire rates, this would generate greater member patronage and we would be able to fund travel subsidies through table hire and make administration easier.  It is sad to say that this did not happen.  We are also looking at a Loyalty Scheme for those that do use the clubrooms which would make these members eligible for possible further funding.
