A very strong field os players (in the men’s event) with some old faces returning. Good to see Richard Parata back playing tournaments once again.

Due to a job change, our curent ranking co-ordinator, Darren Taylor, finds that he is unable to continue in the position. Is there someone out in Billiards and Snooker-land who would like to take on the challenge of compiling the rankings lists each month. You will need to be familiar with Microsoft Excel as the Ranking programme uses this format. The position can be very interesting watching the progress tournament by tournament of various players.

The field of fifteen was possibly the largest ever for the tournament. Players included Derek Gibb from Capital City, who won the event in 2007 and 2008, and New Zealand’s top ranked player, Wayne Carey (from Auckland).
