Charlie Lagor, second seed in Section 1, won through to the Semi-finals, then won his place into the Final 2/1 against Bruce Davis. Wayne Carey played Ron Milicich in the other Semi-final. Wayne beat Ron 2/1. All games were played best of three frames.
The final was won by Charlie Lagor 2/1 against Wayne Carey, with a break of 39 in the third frame.
