Report by Malcolm Beehre : A good field of 21 players.  This tournament was played trailling the 147 rules with no time limit on aggregate scores.  All matches were best of 3 frames.  It wasn’t really a success and did not speed up the frame times.  147 rules do need to be played using aggregate scores and also on a time limit.

Quarter-finals : D Bala bt Nita Clarkson 2/0, R Herd bt Neil Clarkson 2/0, L Ford bt B Davies 2/0, L Liu bt L Chand 2/1.

Semi-finals : R Herd bt D Bala 2/1, L Liu bt L Ford 2/0.

Final : R Herd bt L Liu 2/0.
