Membership ACBS
The Auckland Confederation of Billiard Sports (Inc) was established for the promotion of cue-sports. The ACBS also incorporates the Auckland Billiards & Snooker Assn (ABSA) and the Auckland Pool Assn (APA). Our Membership year runs from June to May.
ACBS Application for Membership Form
By taking membership with the ACBS you are entitled to use the Clubrooms during our hours of operation and you are welcome to sign in a guest. A security system has been installed with swipe card access.
All members receive a copy of the ACBS By-Laws. The categories covered in the By-Laws are as follows:
- Administration and Membership
- Committee Meetings
- Tournament and Entry Conditions
- Dress and Conduct Rules
- Travel Subsidy Conditions
There are three levels of Membership available:- Full, Restricted and Social. Listed below are the criteria for each level of Membership, and the benefits.
Full Membership
- The ACBS monthly full-colour newsletter
- Two hours member’s FREE table hire
- FREE cue-sport coaching on designated evenings
- Joint membership to the ABSA and the APA
- Eligibility to participate in any event hosted by the ABSA or the APA
- Eligibility to participate in all Regional, Open, Island, and National Official Cue Sports Events
- Travel Subsidies to Ranking Events after participation in qualifying events
- Eligibility to participate in APA 8-Ball League
- A Membership ID Card
Restricted Membership
- Special table hireage rates
- FREE cue-sport coaching on designated evenings
- Notification and entry forms of all cue-sport events hosted by the ABSA and the APA
- Quarterly “ACBS Clipboard” newsletter
- A Membership ID Card
Social Membership
- Notification of the ACBS Annual General Meeting
- A Membership ID Card
