APA REGIONAL JUNIOR 8-BALL & 9-BALL CHAMPS

Posted on Tuesday, July 11th, 2006

A small but very competitive fields of eight in the 8-Ball and five in the 9-Ball. There were some excellent clearances in both tournaments.

It was pleasing to see a few parents and friends along to watch. We are struggling to maintain a larger number of participants in our Junior tournaments.

One of the effects of the liquor law requirements in making all pool rooms have an on-licence instead of an entertainment licence means that rooms can no longer have under 18-year-olds on the premises under any circumstances and this is having a big effect on young people finding a venue for them to participate in cue sport events.
