North Island Billiards Day 2 – UPDATE
Posted on Sunday, September 17th, 2006Auckland’s Wayne Carey continued on in ominous form with 3 convincing wins and 3 more century breaks on day 2 of the CLS Mitchell Cloth On The Level North Island Billiards Championships being played at the Auckland Confederation of Billiard Sports Clubrooms in Royal Oak. At the conclusion of section play, Carey and Grant Hayward, both from Auckland, look the more likely players to be contesting the final come Sunday afternoon. Both players going through section play unbeaten and putting together 41 breaks over 40 between them.
