The ABSA and APA Committees have both agreed to have included in the tournament conditions for all events, the banning of the use of cell-phones for receiving, calling or texting during the playing of a match.
ABSA PENALTIES :
Snooker (loss of frame)
Billiards (loss of 75 points)
APA PENALITES :
All pool events (loss of frame being played).

A field of 18, which included the return of Fale Pakieto, Aaron Shaw and John McMillan who haven’t played tournaments here for a number of years. Only five winners in Section Play was Ligzxiao Zhu with a +10 differential. Continue reading »
Table sponsors are required for the 2012 NZ Billiards & Snooker Championships to be held 30 June to 14 July. Eight sponsors are required at $1000 per table. Half of the table sponsorship money will be paid back to sponsors in the form of two by two thousand dollard prizes i.e. the highest break in the Billiards event and the Snooker event.
