Individual player profiles have been updated

Eight ranking players will automatically go through to the Post-Section Draw.  Any other entrants will play Section Play to determine a further eight qualifiers for Post-Section Play.
Section Play may be on Saturday only, dependant upon the number of entries received.
Post-Section Play will commence on Sunday and also a voluntary Plate Event for non-qualifiers.
The Plate Event will have a $5 entry fee of which all fees will be paid out as prize money.
Ranking points for this tournament will be 5 points per player upon entering and playing, with a return to the norm from Post Section play onwards.

Women’s Event:

No changes to format.  This event may play on the Saturday only, dependant upon the number of entries received.

The National 8-Ball and 9-Ball events are our most prestigious events and we would like to change the dress code to reflect this.  At the forthcoming National 9-Ball Championships, to be held in Auckland from 30 october to 01 November, the dress code will be formal as seen in earlier years.

Men’s Dress Code:

• Dress trousers (NO cords, jeans or tracksuit-type pants)
• Long-sleeved collared shirt (NO polo shirts or t-shirts)
• Formal leather dress shoes (NO sport-type running shoes, jandals or sandals)
• Tie, bow tie OR waistcoat (NOT optional – compulsory)

Women’s Dress Code:

• Dress trousers or dress skirt (NO cords, jeans, tracksuit-type pants or mini skirts)
• Long-sleeved collared shirt/blouse (NO polo shirts, t-shirts or un-collared blouses)
• Formal leather dress shoes (NO sport-type running shoes or open toed jandals or sandals)
• Tie, bow tie or waistcoat (Optional)

Please note that all junior players entering these events must adhere to the dress code (NO exceptions)
