ABSA Open B-Grade Snooker

Report by Malcolm Beehre : The event was run trialing a new deviation to the dreaded foul and miss rule. All snooker rules stayed the same except if a player was snookered and failed to hit the ball on, his opponent could place the white anywhere on the table for his next shot,thus eliminating a lot of time and deliberations. NB : All other fouls committed were dealt with as normal.
Each match in Section play was two frames only and the qualifiers were determined by the number of frames won and not by the number of matches won. Continue reading »
