Jon Grimley says one event he can recall worth remembering is
1994 : World Snooker Championship final, Jimmy White’s gutting miss on the black in the 35th and final frame when the title was his … of course, Stephen Hendry cleared to the pink to takte the title again … one of the most memorable nights I’ve experienced (when Sky TV still showed snooker before choosing to cater to the masses only).

Jon’s not finished - he’s got another memorable occasion!!
1983 : UK Championship Snooker final - Alex Higgins’ awesome final win over Steve Davis 16-15, after being 7-0 (or maybe even 8-0) down. I’ve never seen the match, but it’s legend now. Would love to see it if anyone has it?

It’s a night that stands out in my memory Anne so
After seeing Jimmy make 5 previous world finals and lose them all, to be so close and amongst the balls in the final frame… well, you’d have had to be me to understand I guess
